This school is great, though a bit antiquated. The only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is the pick-up/drop-off system. It takes approximately twenty minutes to get my child; otherwise, everything else is satisfactory.

I am incredibly let down by this school in regards to the Apex fun run. My son and I raised a total of $500, which I had already handed in. The personnel keeps sending out emails to everyone who pledged money, trying to collect more - making some people think that I never paid! When I contacted the PTA, they responded with suggestions for how else I could pay, even though payment had already been made! This has made me so mad that I will never take part in another fundraiser with the PTA again.

This was without a doubt the worst school ever! It was horrible in every way, from the teachers to the duty aids and even rainy days. Mrs. King always had an unpleasant demeanor, and if you got into trouble you'd be stuck in the cafeteria during recess doing chores like cleaning tables, mopping floors and walls or taking out garbage. The 1st graders were even put to work! On rainy days they would just make us watch a movie for 10 minutes before sending us off with nothing else to do. During presentations or movies we were made to sit on the dirty floor - no exceptions! I had more homework at that school than I have at my middle school now! I had to go through kindergarten all the way up until 6th grade there, which was no fun whatsoever. Please do not send your kids here!! I HATED THIS SCHOOL!!!

We are delighted to come back to Quail Run Elementary! Marta Maynard, Veronica, and Mrs. King are especially looking forward to it.
