My experience with this school was terrible. Their only goal seemed to be making money, as they wrongfully charged us and kept attempting to put more Bills into our account. They demanded a sizable sum of money that we have been paying off for six months now. Additionally, they even threatened us, leading to me having to withdraw my kid in the middle of their school year despite there only being one month left. It was shameful how we were treated by them; I sent my other three kids away to different schools and nothing like this happened at all! People should be more considerate and respectful - hire individuals who know math and billing techniques so that something like this will not occur again due to ignorance.

We were shocked by the school's reaction when a chaperone, who had been approved by the school, put their hands on another student. Despite our fondness for Villa's teachers and their commitment to Montessori teaching, the school was run like a dictatorship with all decisions being made at the discretion of its director who was not open to any parental input besides financial. To make matters worse, during a school trip an acquaintance of our son was manhandled by another parent - not in an attempt to save them from harm but rather to force them into taking part in an unwanted photo. The victim's parent reported it to administration but nothing came of it; there was no follow-up when it came to this chaperone that had been authorized by the school! As a result of this incident, the child moved schools and understandably so; how could they feel safe if no action is taken? Even more concerning is that after I took kids on my own trip, there were still no meetings or discussions with parents about what is acceptable behavior nor did they speak with any of those who witnessed what happened - which left everyone feeling disappointed and uneasy. Although Montessori has its benefits, safety should always be prioritized over anything else and if a school cannot provide that then other options should be sought out.

I'm a huge supporter of this school; it was an incredibly fulfilling experience with a lot of enjoyable moments. The instructors were exceptionally helpful, providing instruction that was tailored to my level. It was a wonderful time and I highly recommend Villa - they certainly deserve the recognition!

My daughters attended the school from its toddler program right up to 5th grade. The teachers, the sense of community, and all the new construction were wonderful. Many friendships and memories were created. We only moved them away due to a long commute from our new home in east Mesa.
