This school is not good. If your kid is in special ed, do not send them there because they don't provide an adequate support system; instead, send them to Washington. The teachers are bad and the discipline too harsh. I left this school in 2015 and heard someone got spat on by a teacher - who hired these people?! The five star reviews must be fake, so don't believe them. If I had a child, I'd never send them here. Once while in P.E., I was sharing the truth with my teacher but she wouldn't listen due to interruptions from other students and the P.E instructor; she didn't even hear what I was trying to say!

My child, who has been attending the school for three years, wrote an unsolicited five star review consisting of only one word: "Great". This was his way of expressing how much he loves the school. Similarly, I am very pleased with the school and its curriculum. The teachers balance individual student needs with courses; additionally, they care for their students' wellbeing. As a working mom who cannot always make it to parent/teacher conferences, I'm thankful for the effort put into communicating my child's progress and regular email calendar updates that help me stay informed of what is happening at school.

This school is remarkable and anyone who has negative comments should stop and think if it's their child that is misbehaving. I've grown up in this school and am now finishing my last year, having achieved lots. Those of us who are fans of the school should stand up for it and speak out against any criticism.

No recommitment to this school! It's the worst. Not one person I've talked to has said anything good about it. My child is an excellent student, having been chosen as student of the month with all As, so they're not a bad kid. Unfortunately, they are mistreated and disrespected by the teacher. I should have known better when I saw that there was a program/rule for respecting staff members. Ms Lung crossed the line today; she will be hearing from me and from the main district HR soon! Definitely no recommitting here!

I'm sending my son to Cactus Wren and I want to make sure that the teachers know that I'll be keeping a close eye on them. I'm prepared to go all the way up to the school board if need be, as I'm aware of my rights as a parent. Thus, I will remain very involved in his education.
