I am truly honored to be a Spartan at Camelback High School. I have been actively involved in the school since its beginning, which has changed my life for the better. All of the teachers and staff have given me tremendous help. I have demonstrated my pride as a Spartan through participating in Stugo, Interact, Science Club, Deca, Young Life, Shadow Program, Mentoring Program, Best Buddies and the Chess Team! Despite Dr. G no longer being our principal I still believe Dr. Quintin Boyce will do an incredible job in his place; I am proud to always remain a Spartan!

The teachers are great, however, there are many irresponsible students and the tardy policy is not enforced. The school needs to review their policies with their staff since the students don't take it seriously. As a tenth grader, I can say that the bad reputation of Camelback is due to other student's actions and no one seems to care. It used to be different in 2015 when Dr. Boyce was around; he cared more and took action. Nowadays, it feels like the school has gone downhill and staff members need to step up as better leaders for their students because we are all the future - come on!

Mrs. Smith is the teacher that all students wish to have, and Mrs. Newman is great too. I'm jealous of those who are lucky enough to have her as their educator. She's undoubtedly one of the best instructors in the world!

My biggest issue was Calculus€¦ (the instructor wasn't great at teaching; she could do the math but that's not the same as having the ability to teach it. It felt like she was in an entirely different world from us. But hey, I made it out alive!) Ayyyyyeee!

I recall the days of 1993 when I attended this school. It looks so different now! I was unfortunately transferred to Central High School and wish that had not happened. My teachers were exceptional and all the staff were amazing too. Not to forget the friends, and all those precious memories!
