My brother is in third grade at this school and is being bullied. My mother and I have to work a lot of hours just to make ends meet, so it's hard for us to switch him to another school. He has attention issues, which the teachers use as an excuse for why he's not able to sit still. However, he never hurts other students or talks back; he's polite and respectful. The last time my mom went in there, they called him a liar! This education system is terrible; they blame an 8-year-old instead of taking responsibility or taking action against the bullying issue. We're considering online schooling or another school, but that would mean one of us having to cut our hours at work so we could be home with him more often. If this school took the initiative to ensure children felt safe and focused on their studies instead of blaming kids like my brother there wouldn't be any trouble. He always says he doesn't feel comfortable at this place due to the verbal abuse from teachers and lack of action from the principal..
