It's not a bad school, however the fact that students can't wear red is quite annoying. Kids like the color and I understand that we live in an area with gangs, but if they can't wear red then they shouldn't let any gang colors be worn either. Personally, I enjoy wearing red and think it should be allowed. Wearing uniforms everyday should be enough to prevent gang affiliation. Additionally, this rule restricts students from expressing themselves and being who they are--boys and girls should be able to hang out with one another as long as nothing inappropriate is going on. Girls tend to cause too much drama for me anyway so I prefer spending time with boys more; however, the teachers are great even if there are occasional issues.

I'm so glad I switched schools; the teachers here are much nicer and more helpful. They actually appreciate me, unlike those horrible teachers from my old school.

Ms. Chatman and Mrs. Stanchik are beloved teachers who teach in a way that caters to the individual needs of each student.
