Kindergarten teachers and their curriculum are fantastic, providing a great experience for children. Unfortunately, the middle school portion of this school is not as successful; there have been too many incidents, too few staff to manage them, and the teachers do not handle problems effectively. The front office staff were all very nice people but that was not enough to keep my child in the school. Ultimately I believe that the campus is simply too large for its current number of staff members.

We are searching for parents who wish to join a class action lawsuit against Booth-Fickett/TUSD. Numerous issues with the school have been experienced by individuals who have had a child attend, yet Booth Fickett has attempted to conceal them and TUSD has not seemed to care. The District declared that they are pouring resources into the school, however this is false according to parents of students currently attending. In order for any alteration at Booth Fickett K-8 magnet school, our children's home school, we must come together and demand it. If you have encountered any problems at all, please contact me - even if your child no longer goes there or you had to leave due to complications. On Facebook I can be found easily; let us tell the special master from the courts that nothing has changed and that the difficulties which initiated this lawsuit are still present while TUSD and Booth Fickett pursue their own interests instead of caring for our children's development or safety in their public home school environment. TUSD has kept everything concealed too long; we need as parents of kids we love dearly to reveal it!

I wouldn't provide a single star if I could. This educational institution is chaotic and deficient in the most fundamental of teachers, such as those for the students with IEPS. The pupils are discourteous and never attentive when I visit my son's class. If any parent desires a better school in Tucson or one that is part of TUSD, they need luck; don't let the term "Magnet" school deceive you. The only thing it truly attracts is disarray and poor education standards.

I attended Booth Fickett for 5 years, and had an incredible experience there. I'm thankful for all of the teachers and staff who helped me through elementary school and my first year of middle school. It was a superb school that I truly enjoyed!
