Cordova Middle School, which I attended from kindergarten to eighth grade, is an example of everything that is wrong with the school system in regards to bullying. Both students and teachers bullied me multiple times, however nothing was done about it even when I reported it. Others had the same experience with no change. CMS claims to give students the tools for lifelong success but this includes allowing bullying and threats of humiliation. How can children learn excellence when they are preoccupied by defending themselves during lunch or recess? The staff believes that writing down incidents and filing them away will solve the problem; however, my sister will not return after this year due to our experiences there. If you want your child to excel academically, you should seriously consider another school as we regret our decision not to do so ourselves.

The staff at this campus are remarkable! This school is part of the Alhambra Elementary School District and Cordova's goal is to provide the best education possible, while also teaching valuable life lessons like character counts.

My New Year's resolution is to stay on par with the other classes, and I'm already doing that since I've been attending Cordova Elementary School since the middle of 2nd quarter in 3rd grade. Although I enjoy it here, there are some people who aren't very courteous towards me which I don't appreciate.

I attended this kindergarten in the 1990s, and Mrs. Haverland was an incredible teacher that I still recall fondly two decades later! Following my time at this school, I relocated to Westwood and then Simpson within the same district. Although these areas were quite tough places to live, I was fortunate to have such excellent educators at their schools.

I was a teen when I attended Cordova, and it has always been my refuge from reality. What an incredible set of people and educators! I am truly fortunate to have had this amazing experience. A big thank you to Cordova! Go Cobras!
