Very poor communication when it comes to disciplinary action against a student, I€™ve been calling them since Wednesday to get a call back and still nothing has been done!!

The man at the front desk is very rude and unpleasant,!!! he shouldnt work at an elementary and have to be the first person you see, I am transferring my kids to this school I brought all paper work on a Wednesday early filled out and explained to him that I didnt have any more time off of work and my kids needed to be in school asap, He did send a request for the information until 2:20pm Friday, Mind you this is and the same city its Monday now and nothing still has been done he is so lazy... Glendale needs to get it together ASAP

Loved this school! From when I was attending here from 98 till 04, 2nd to 8th grade, had good amazing experiences from all teachers and staff, awesome education, good after school programs, great summer camps, unforgettable field trips, really recommend this school to a lot of parents. Good times thank so you Desert Garden for all I need to know.GO HAWKS!!!

The school is actually pretty all right. The teachers are hands on and very interactive with the kids. The curriculum is good. And Mr. De La Huerta is every thing youd expect from an elementary school principal. The classes do have a high head count per teacher. But I blame that on a seriously lack of adequate funding. To rebut the \"they dont I.d.\" comment, I seriously beg to differ. I walk my daughter to her class every morning via the office, and every morning like clock work, I hand over my Id in exchange for the visitors pass. The lady in the office is a little rough around the edges but hey thats life, your not going to like everything about everybody. Keep up the good work faculty!
