This school has no concern for students in the lower quartile, claiming all the right things but doing little to nothing. The bright students receive all the attention while those facing learning difficulties are left to their own devices and ultimately fail or repeat grades. It is advisable not to attend this school as its new administration is terrible!

This school can be a living nightmare for many. Those who are academically deficient do not receive the instruction they need and are often overlooked. While some find solace in their friend circles, others feel threatened. I am one of those students who feels threatened; I had informed the school about being in a competitive relationship with another student and even mentioned that I was willing to place a restraining order against them but all they did was move that student a few seats away from me. All things considered, there are positives to this school; it's generally safe and the teachers, Mr. Costa, Mrs. Costa and Ms Wilson make attending worth it for me instead of changing schools altogether :(

I would rate this school 3 stars. It's not amazing, but it's not bad either. Monitors and administrators are great, though some of the teachers aren't my favorite. Specifically, the L.A teacher is really terrible; she takes things too seriously and gives a no-stamp for simply forgetting your name card? I think that after two weeks she should remember our names, so at least one more chance should be given before a no-stamp is issued--there could be serious issues in someone's life that causes them to forget or not eat correctly. Desert Sky needs better teachers; this same one is also racist and sexist.

Homework varies in difficulty depending on the class, and the lunch food is not ideal as it's always the same. However, some teachers are great and they coordinate fun activities often.

The faculty at this school is quite a dichotomy; there are some phenomenal teachers and then there are those that leave me feeling less than inspired. Even so, it remains the top school in Tuscon.
