My first ever public school experience was when I went there in 4th grade; I was naturally very anxious. However, once I became familiar with everything, it was great! That year was just for me to be accustomed to the environment and have a good time. The following year, though, I had more of a focus on my grades. I made lots of friends and had wonderful teachers both years! Therefore, if you can send your child there, you should - it's an incredibly warm and delightful place to be.
