I am incredibly fond of this school; my daughter has attended it for almost 4 years, and I have seen her blossom into an outstanding individual. As is to be expected, she has made a few errors; however, the staff here have been invaluable in providing her the guidance to make sound choices. Furthermore, they are very honest with both students and parents alike - a quality which is hard to come by nowadays. My daughter most likely will graduate from this academy due to all of the support they offer with regards to college scholarships and grants as well as placement opportunities.

I never wanted to write this review, however, the school is a huge letdown. Despite their claims of professionalism, strong values and work ethic, they don't practice what they preach when it comes to their own staff. I had faith in them but at the end of the year I realized that I should have heeded my daughter's warnings rather than giving them a chance. High teacher turnover rates, low quality teachers and lack of discipline are some of the things you can expect from this LEA; behind their facade lies mismanagement and poor leadership with no accountability. Avoid this place or enter cautiously if you must.

I have been employed by four high schools and an academy, but none of them can compare to DHPA; they always ensure I will be successful in my role. It is a pleasure to be a part of such a tight-knit community here.

This school is so terrible; please don't send your kids here! After relocating, they failed to transfer my credits. All in all, it's abysmal. It would be wise to look into another school.

Incredible School! It is beneficial for students who are having difficulty and gratifying for those who excel. One of the finest.
