Administration at the school is unprofessional and extremely under trained in dealing with families and repremanding faculty. The crossing guard is extremely rude and incompetent and also poses a danger to the students due to vast communication barrier. She prefers to be lazy and stand in the middle of the road and create traffic jams and prevent parents in vehicles from moving through so they may pick up their own children. My sister has literally had to park at the crosswalk get out of her vehicle and walk to meet with her child and was almost invited into a physical altercation by crossing guard Their have been reports of bullying and inappropriate touching that was not handled appropriately. A child fell from playground equipment , knocked out two front teeth and was not taken to nurse nor was mother contacted!!! The administration at this school is not worth the hassle and the childrens safety is severely compromised, be extremely weary of this school!!!

This is a nice school. Sure it could have improvements. The lady commenting about the school having a zero tolerance of bullying is farthest from the truth in my opinion. I have two kids going there. My oldest while in kindergarten(now in 4th) was being bullying by another student one day. That same day I spoke to the principal. The next day they called the kids into the office settled the issue and called me in after that to talk about the issue. The kid was a troubled kid and ended up being expelled a few weeks later. But the issue was addressed when I brought it up. I have another child that had an incident in kindergarten as well. She was grabbed and thrown to the ground by a boy in her class. That same day I brought it up to the principal the problem was addressed the next day with the boy being suspended for picking on my daughter and her friend. The boy never picked on my daughter again. The classes arent too packed like other surrounding schools. Only my oldest had a class one year with 25 kids. The rest have had less.

This school doesnt have 0 tolerance for bullying its a 0 tolerance for victims. The principal called my daughter an annoying tattle tale to mine and her dads face. After talking with him my daughter started getting into trouble for everything. If I could afford for my kids to go somewhere else I would. We will be moving as soon as we can.

This school is awesome. All three of my kids have gone to this school from 1st grade to 7th. i moved out of the area and now am bringing my kids back to this school. they helped my daughter go from a 2nd grade level in the 3rd grade to now being in the right class doing the right work in the 6th grade. the students, and staff have such a great rep. thanks coyote ridge for being the best.
