Many issues plague Kellis High School, the most significant being its staff. Most of the teachers at this school are inconsiderate and unhelpful, demonstrated by their willingness to give up on a student who was eventually expelled. Though they claim to be some of the best educators in their state, it is clear that their efforts do not reflect this supposed excellence. The front office staff are of little assistance when it comes to problem solving - I have been complaining about unreliable late-start buses for eight months but nothing has changed. The guidance counselors offer support but ultimately cannot do much in comparison with other more pressing matters. Events such as pep rallies occur without any appreciation from instructors; it almost feels as if special education is Kellis' priority above all else – though this may be one of the nation's best programs, real education is lacking due to inadequate faculty members.

Kellis is not a bad school academically, however, the small regulations enforced by teachers are quite unreasonable. Additionally, it goes without saying that drama is a large part of high school life and Kellis is no exception.

The educational quality at this school is adequate, however, it is not the ideal place to send your child if they are interested in athletics. Favoritism runs rampant among the coaches and athletic director, particularly in regards to the basketball program.

My daughter is having a great time playing kellis, so those who claim the sports department is underperforming are wrong. My oldest son attended that program, and now he is in college pursuing a career as a professional.
