I have read a few reviews about this school, and I can appreciate why some people may think the way they do. All kids are different, as are their parents' expectations. My daughter is very much "set it and forget it" when it comes to school; she has been fortunate to find things easy, but she does become bored. The prior PUSD school was a bad fit for her in comparison to Heritage; this new place allows for interaction, communication and adaptability that other schools don't offer. With STEM programs and small class sizes, my daughter has the freedom to learn at her own pace - something that most children don't get elsewhere. On top of all of this I appreciate the enthusiasm from both staff and pupils alike; even though I don't receive as much information as before, they focus on what matters most - having fun while learning!

This school, which my son attends, is all right; however, I think that some of the instructors could relate more with parents.

It is disheartening to witness a twelve year old criticize hardworking teachers that strive to create a conducive learning environment in the classroom. I am familiar with the two teachers talked about and they are both excellent instructors who are devoted to their students' educational success; similarly, all of Heritage's teaching staff works diligently towards the same cause. It is certainly an admirable school.

Going to that school for nine years (kinder-8) was alright, but I ended up teaching myself the subjects once I got to junior high. Some teachers and substitutes would get irritated if you coughed or yawned. If you joked around with a teacher, they'd get really upset and give you a referral. The principal is great though; he interacts with the students, and Janitor Walter is awesome.

This school is only okay; however, the teachers my kids have encountered so far have been excellent. The principal and their system of obtaining substitutes should be altered. The greatest benefit this school provides is its flexibility with working schedules. It offers free before and after school daycare, as well as free breakfast and dinner.
