My son attends this school its ok but I feel that some of the teachers could be more interactive with parents

It is sad when teachers who work hard to have a learning environment in the classroom are bashed by a 12 year old for being mean. I know both teachers mentioned and they are good teachers who work hard so kids can learn, just like all the teachers there. Heritage is a good school. The staff works hard so kids can learn every day.

I mean its alright. Ive been to that school for 9 years (kinder-8) i kinda learned, but i felt like i taught myself the subjects once i reached junior high. A few teachers and subs get salty for you coughing or yawning. If you playfully dis a teacher then they get really triggered and give you a referral. The principle is good and interacts with the kids and janitor Walter is fire.

Ive read several of the reviews of this school and I can understand why some may feel the way they do. All children are different. All parents have different expectations.I have a daughter who is very much on auto-pilot when it comes to school. Things have come easy to her and for this, we are grateful. However, she does get bored. She was at a different PUSD school before Heritage and they are not on the same wavelength at all. This school does cater to children who require interaction, open communication and free-range flexibility. Freedom to learn at a pace (with STEM programming and smaller class sizes) is a benefit most kids are not given at other schools.More than anything, I love the energy from the school. Most of the kids and teachers are enthusiastic and excited for things they do. No, I do not receive a great deal of information like I did at the other school. However, they focus on a lot of positive things that matter far more. I just want my child to have fun, learn something and enjoy going to school for the right reasons.

Its an okay school, The teachers that my kids have had so far have been great, the principal and their substitute system needs to change. The best thing this school has to offer is the flexibility it gives your working schedule. It offers free before school and after school day care and it also provides free breakfast and dinner.
