Horrible experience Since my son first started kindergarten this year weve had a horrible experience with this school The first teacher he had in the beginning of the year was horrible My son missed 2 days of school beca Horrible experience Since my son first started kindergarten this year weve had a horrible experience with this school The first teacher he had in the beginning of the year was horrible My son missed 2 days of school because he had a bad asthma episode We didnt even know he had asthma until this happened When he returned to school his teacher called us and threatened to call ACS on us for not bringing him to school even though he had a doctors note for those days The principal also told us that we need to bring him to school even if hes sick and they will decide if he needs to go home or not There were a couple other days he missed school due to my mom being sick This has been a horrible year for us as a family Later I find out that the principal and teacher asked my son what he was doing on his days off and they also asked what was I doing on his days off This is completely out of line You dont ask a child for information about what his parents do on days off That was a question they should have asked us They are a charter school theyre best interest are not the children Theyre best interest is having every child in school everyday so they can look good to get extra money I am extremely upset about them crossing the line like this and am currently inquiring about withdrawing my son from this school more ... hide ...

This school really needs to be closed They have no care in the world for our community of children I recently enrolled my child here She attended virtual learning for 3 days before I withdrew her from the school After s This school really needs to be closed They have no care in the world for our community of children I recently enrolled my child here She attended virtual learning for 3 days before I withdrew her from the school After several requests to take a tour of the school to be assured that my child is safe I was informed that the school does not participate in social distancing in the class room there are up to 36 kids per class and theyre only getting 3 hours of virtual learning then the kids are able to log off and complete any undone work in their own time The assistant principal of the 4th grade is whom I spoke with She was very frankly matter of fact tone no empathy whatsoever It really plays into the idea that these teachers are just here to do their job for 5 years so they can get their student loans from college paid off then they dont care about our kids I dont see how ANY parent has their kid in here My daughter is an honor roll student always But for her to only get 3 hours a day of learning is ridiculous There is no vaccine for these younger kids there are reports everyday about the spread amongst the kids So why no social distance protocol in the classroom more ... hide ...
