My husband and I were appalled when our son was kicked in the groin and had a lunchbox hurled at his head in class yesterday. He rushed to the school to converse with the resource officer and the assistant principal, Mrs. Zornes, who disregarded the incident, claiming nothing could be done as it was the last day of school. She then snatched my son's phone and said it was because he had a habit of recording things. This, we think, is a breach of our son's rights and privacy. We have contacted Officer Roddy and asked that charges of simple assault be pressed against the child, but all he responded with was that he would make a report based on our words, and that it wouldn't be ready soon. This child has been harassing our son all year, so we have decided it is finally time to take action. The 'no bully zone' is just a joke, as she gets bullied but is punished for defending herself. The 'treat everyone like family' motto is also a joke since those on the outside don't get the same respect. We chose to move here for the Prosper district, but now we all regret it and how we've been treated. more ... hide ...

I was really disheartened when I had to leave the school I used to attend. The teachers were really supportive of me, despite my not being the best in the class. They were always courteous and even let me set up clubs. M I was really disheartened when I had to leave the school I used to attend. My classmates were so amicable and the teachers were always willing to teach me whatever I wanted to know. Initially, it was a lot of hard work for some, but after a couple of months, it became enjoyable.
