My daughter went here from Kindergarten till half of her 5th grade year I moved her because my daughter has been bullied by the same 2 girls for the last 3 years She would report it and nothing was done There way of hand My daughter went here from Kindergarten till half of her 5th grade year I moved her because my daughter has been bullied by the same 2 girls for the last 3 years She would report it and nothing was done There way of handling the issue is to meet with both parties involved only after the person who is being bullied has to go and fill out a form and put it in a box until someone decides several days later and sometimes it was a week later to FINALLY talk to my daughter about whats going on Its sad that they dont take bullying seriously more ... hide ...

My kids had wonderful teachers but other members of faculty Im not too sure of I dont find the RTC program effective I actually think its more detrimental than anything My daughter was sent to the office once and was not My kids had wonderful teachers but other members of faculty Im not too sure of I dont find the RTC program effective I actually think its more detrimental than anything My daughter was sent to the office once and was not served her lunch like her class mates and faculty When she came home her shirt was ripped to shreds and when I asked her what happened I was told she ate it because she was hungry I dont like the school one bit I transferred both my son and daughter to Sunburst and I have not received any phone calls or notes home I find it unsettling to send kids home or suspend them when they dont want to sit or listen right away I was called home from work twice when I started my new job and when I explained the importance of my attendance to Mr Anderson he didnt want to hear that and wanted me to pick my daughter up right away when she didnt want to listen I dont know any kindergartners who listens on the first try To add icing on the cake during a meeting with him and other members of faculty I made them all aware of how I was trying to make changes for the better for my family but the school was not supportive at all during that I wouldnt recommend this school to anyone Im pretty sure he ate his lunch when my daughter was in his office starving more ... hide ...

My daughter is a 1st grader at this school and she attended kindergarten there as well When she was getting ready to start school we looked at the schools closest to where we were living and this one seemed to have good My daughter is a 1st grader at this school and she attended kindergarten there as well When she was getting ready to start school we looked at the schools closest to where we were living and this one seemed to have good ratings and it was her District so we gave it a shot Couldnt be more pleased The staff is amazing The principal and everyone there seems to genuinely care for the children like they are happy to be there and happy to be teaching our kids They have a system where they award good behavior more than focusing on disciplining bad behavior I could write a threepage review on how great the school is If your considering taking your kids here you wont be disappointed more ... hide ...

I Love this school The principal is very understanding and helpful as well as the front office staff There all so nice and they truly care I have a son who has severe ADHD and they have been so kind and helpful They trul I Love this school The principal is very understanding and helpful as well as the front office staff There all so nice and they truly care I have a son who has severe ADHD and they have been so kind and helpful They truly care about there students Last year I had all 4 of my kids start this amazing school and there doing so much better then before they got there I have 3 kids in this school this year and its still been amazing for them I love all the events that they do for this school The kids have so much fun participating and they enjoy knowing its helping their school Keep up the great work Oh and the best part was last year my son was actually excited to go to school and give Mr Woodward I may have spelled his name wrong the schools principal a high five before school started Its the little things that make the biggest difference more ... hide ...

This review is based off how my sons 1st grade teacher has treated my sonbut mainly mehow she has got other teachers to harassmistreat mehowever when he was in kindergarten he had a very nice teacheroverall the school is This review is based off how my sons 1st grade teacher has treated my sonbut mainly mehow she has got other teachers to harassmistreat mehowever when he was in kindergarten he had a very nice teacheroverall the school is safer My son came here due to being beat up jumped in kindergarten in his prior school for being white 10x in few monthsso he came to moon mountain even though its out of his school district to be safe So at moon mountain it all started after he started going here I moved so he got behind on his homeworkwell his now 1st grade teacher yelled in my sons facehe came home historically cryingI asked my 6year old son what happened he told me what she didso when I went to pick my son up from school I confronted herfirmly warned her to never ever yell or confront my son ever again So I thought it was already bad he has been traumatized from his prior schoolto come to this schoolthen his 1st grade teacher to act this wayonly the beginning of drama Slowly but surely she started to belittle me as I picked up my son in the circle driveafter school He got very sickmissed schoolI even provided the drs notewhen I pulled up for my son to get into the car right in front of other parentsstudents she loudly says your son needs to show up for school on tues so he doesnt miss out with his math tutorhe hasnt been coming to schoolhow can he learn if hes not here So she made it out to be just because he was really sickthat he was never there2days Then next thing I notice when I try to wave or smile at other teachers that are standing by her after schoolthey would smile only at each otherignore methis hurts me emotionally because when I do try to wave hi or smile When I forgot to sign a permission slip another day when I went to pick my son upshe loudly rudely with an attitude said you know his permission slip was due a long time agoover a week ago also keep in mind I informed her that I have TBItraumatic brain injurydue to domestic violenceso it effects my memory greatlyyet she has the nerve to embarass me loudly These things are occurring dailyby no means have I exaggerated in any wayrecently I saved up my tax returns to purchase a new carever since a week ago very loudly she said for 3days straightoh we know we know my sons nameyou got a new carthe first day I asked my son to please stop talking about itthat I know hes excited but that mommy doesnt like ATTN my son said mommy I only told teacher 1 time So then after 3days the next 2 days different teachers started doing it Like really why are they doing this Every day Im finally going to make a complaint switch teachersthe only time shes niceput on a fake act is when I go to a parent teacher conference another teacher is there sadly this is all due to me standing up to her for yelling at my son Its to the point I do not want to pick him up from schoolor go thereI have thought of home schooling him Im a single motherI do not deserve thisIve been mistreatedbelittled my whole lifeI left a situation from a person made me physically disabledmessed my memory upmy writing spellingIm only able to post this with spell correction helpbut I by no means deserve this disgusting behavior from a teacher who claims she has been a teacher for 30yrsBTW this wasaking a long story short more ... hide ...
