I had an amazing time at PHS. Old Main's unique architecture and history sets it apart from other centennial and ironwood schools. Furthermore, the faculty and staff are exceptional. Brought my three children with high expectations to Santa Fe Elementary School, and while they did gain a bit of Spanish, the school underserved them. To further illustrate my point: many posts below mention their children coming home with As because this school does not have high standards or set limitations in education; we had such anticipation for SFES but our family has moved on elsewhere. My wife asked principal Nitsche (sp) and vice principal to bump up my daughter's grade over winter break but they refused - saying they "don't believe in that". Later, I beca Having been affiliated with Sundance for more than 8 years, I started out as a parent - my three current children have been members of the school since Kinder and one will be graduating 8th grade this year. Later, I became a regular volunteer, taking on roles such as crossing guard/lunch duty monitor and then eventually a teacher. What originally attracted me to Sundance was its feeling of community and family coupled with the dedication of teachers and administrators to provide the best possible experience for our kids. Now that I'm an employee here, my admiration has only grown - everyone is genuinely invested in our students' wellbeing. more ... hide ...

This place has been my home for four years now, and it is incredible! The staff, teachers, and principals are all incredibly kind.
